THE DISABLED TOURISM DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIVE

Our aim is to ensure employment in the tourism sector to our disabled citizens by means of the  Disabled Tourism Development Cooperative founded by them.

THE THERE IS NO BARRIER BETWEEN US PROJECT

With this project, the employment of the disabled people, the production of the handicrafts, their channelization into the farm tourism and thus the ebatement of the barriers inbetween has been aimed. Within the context of the project, the establishement of the rehabilitation facilities and delivering of various professional educations are being performed.

THE THERMAL TOURISM PROJECT

Our thermal tourism projects are one of the most important alternatives in extending the tourism throughout twelwe months. Turkey is a very rich country in terms of thermal sources. It is situated on a young mountains chain, called Alpin Aurogenic zone. The use of the thermal sources in the tourism sector can be an alternative or complement to the use in the fields such as energy and healt. The use of thermal sources in the tourism sector brings the accomodation facilities to the agenda.

When we look at the thermal tourism strategy, the situation analysis which would act as a basis for the strategic decisions, introduces the potential of Turkey in this issue. Thus we can see in which points Turkey is weak or strong in terms of thermal tourism. It is thought that the thermal facilities could serve for twelwe months considering the feature of the thermal tourism. It is suggested again that facilities where health services are provided would secure long term accomodations. It is suggested that a lot of foreign tourists would come to Turkey and spend money in the healt and thermal tourism. Once again, the Thermal Cities which is one of our Thermal Tourism Projects, are the cities which are made climate centers together with the culture tourism, able to catch the first age tourists, and which are animation centers applying integrated projects. Countries all around the world have subjected the thermal cities to individual destination under this concept. The cities should be trade marks in the thermal tourism. They should not be just cure centres, addressing the third age. The city, where thermal accomodation facilities and by products are being built, should be declared as a thermal city, its typology should be displayed, during the presentation to the tourism market, the city should make up its typologie out of its cultural nubs, which come from its history and thus it should turn to a monument.
